MADISON (WKOW) — A woman is in police custody after a Madison hotel employee saw her pushing away a $4,000 piece of equipment.
Police spokesperson Stephanie Fryer said the theft took place just after midnight Friday. An employee of the hotel called police after seeing a woman push a deep freezer out of the building. Under Counter Refrigerator
The woman was found nearby and arrested for felony theft.
The freezer was returned to the hotel.
